In what can be considered normal weather for Colorado in the springtime, a short-lived squall rained mini-snowballs and caused blizzard-like conditions for a short time yesterday morning. By the afternoon, there was no hint of the furious storm that blew through–the sun was shining and temperatures were in the 50s.
Although I am an amateur appreciator of art, I have never been an accumulator of clothing. My philosophy on all shopping is to only go when you need to and when you do go, get only what you need as quickly as possible and then get the hell out. As I was down to only two pairs of wearable jeans, I reluctantly decided there was a need to go shopping for clothes.
Since I’ve established that I have no fashion sense (I’ll refrain from retelling the blue shirt debacle…), I invited Meg, my cousin and good friend, to help me in this endeavor. Luckily we were able to find things which I was willing to wear that weren’t too contrary to “fashion”.
I need a cookie.
